Description

The Tork Industrial Cleaning Cloth is a perfect alternative to Rags or Rental cloths. Its softness and flexibility allows cleaning tight spaces and intricate components without scratching the surface, yet it is tough enough to mop up oil, grease and dirt, while usable with most solvents. It fits in the Tork Folded Wiper/Cloth Dispenser that protects refills from dirt and offers a one-at-a time dispensing to reduce consumption.

Raw materials

Cellulose Pulp

Cellulose pulp is produced either from softwood or hardwood coming from responibly managed forests. The wood chips are boiled together with chemicals to remove the lignin between the fibers. The pulp is TCF (Totally Chlorine Free) or ECF (Elementary Chlorine Free) bleached in order to achieve a clean, bright and strong product, but also to increase the hygienic and absorbent qualities.

Polyester

Polyester fiber is produced from terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, which react through condensation to polyester resin. The molten resin is spun to fibers through spinnerets and cooled with air. The fibers are then cut to intended fiber length.

Polypropylene

Polypropylene or polypropene is a thermoplastic polymer made from oil. The moten resin is spun to endless fibers through spinnerets and cooled by air. The fibers form a web.

Functional agents and additives

Functional additives could be wet strength agent, antistatic agent and wetting additives/tensides.
